About us

It all started with an idea

Handy Girl Australia was established and registered in 2007, after Founder Kim Halbert-Pere found herself living in rural Victoria, renovating her own home and loving the challenge of a DIY project.

Handy Girl Australia was created with two visions in mind:

Firstly to give home and business owners access to reliable cleaning and maintenance, and secondly, to create an empowering employment platform for women who are motivated, talented and looking for flexible work.

As a Handy Girl client, you can expect professional quality service with a smile. As part of the Handy Girl team, you’ll join an incredible network designed to build your skills and confidence while helping you find work on your own terms and generate a great income.
